Sam Steinle is an award winning Cinematographer & Camera Operator specialising in narrative, documentary and commercial work.

Sam graduated with a Masters of Cinematography from the Australian Film, Television & Radio School in 2021. His work has been featured in the Australian Cinematographer Magazine and screened at domestic & international Film Festivals.

His recent credits include operating Steadicam live on stage for Sydney Theatre Company’s The Picture of Dorian Gray throughout it’s entire 2022 season, performing to tens of thousands of audience members across Australia.

Sam is a dedicated collaborator with unique knowledge and experience of visual story-telling across multiple film and theatre formats.

Sam acknowledges the Gadigal and Wangal people of the Eora Nation, traditional custodians of the land he lives on, and pays his respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. Always was, always will be.
